The two-part textile installation was created as an artwork for the touring dance performance Le Sacre du Printemps (2023), directed by Michiel Vandevelde and produced by Theater Neumarkt in Zurich. The first part, The Adoration of the Earth (2023), is a subjective, narrative account of human history from the beginning of the world to the 19th century. It shows the complex relationship between nature and man, between the natural and the industrialized landscape. The second section, entitled The Sacrifice (2023), is an apocalyptic vision of the future in which the Earth is in the throes of a climate catastrophe, with a complete absence of human and non-human protagonists.
